What we do with what you tell us.

Last updated August 11, 2026. We will update this notice if what we collect changes, and the date above will move with it. If anything here bears on a decision you are making, email us and we will confirm the current position.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry and dosing-plan form, and only when you submit it. That is your name and work email, which are required, and—where you choose to give them—your role, telephone number, utility or organisation, facility name and location. The form also asks about the lagoon itself: surface acres, number of cells, flow, influent BOD, sludge depth, treatment objective, aeration and mixing, and procurement details such as ship-to state, purchase timing, payment method and tax status. A free-text box lets you add anything else. Nothing beyond your name and email is required, though a full plan review also needs the flow and BOD, because an order cannot be sized without them.

If you buy packs directly instead of asking for a plan, checkout asks for the things a parcel and a receipt need: your email address, the delivery address and a telephone number the carrier can use to arrange a pallet delivery, and the name, billing address and card details you give to the payment form. The card details are the one thing on this site that never reaches us at all—see below.

We ask you not to attach documents. Surveys, plans and purchase orders you already hold are exchanged in direct follow-up rather than through the public form, which keeps document handling off the site entirely.

Why we collect it

To do the one job the form exists for: review the dosing plan, judge whether biological treatment suits your lagoon, and prepare a quotation or sensible next steps. Your contact details let us reply; the lagoon details let us size an order, or tell you plainly that it is the wrong approach. We do not use any of it for advertising, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell it.

Where it goes

When you submit the form, our server formats your answers into an email and sends it to our own inbox through Resend, an email-delivery provider, so it reaches a person who can act on it. The site keeps no database of enquiries and stores no files; your submission exists as an email and is handled like any other business correspondence. The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes the request in transit. If you place an order, Stripe processes the payment and sends us the confirmation, as set out in the next section. Beyond those providers and the people at SediLogic who handle your enquiry, no one sees it—unless we are legally required to disclose it.

Paying by card

Card payments are taken by Stripe. The fields you type your card number into are served by Stripe inside its own frames, so the number, expiry and security code go straight to Stripe and never touch this site, our code or our logs. That is not a courtesy; it is the only arrangement we would be willing to operate, because the safest way to hold a card number is not to have it.

Stripe needs your name, email and billing address to take the payment, send you a receipt and satisfy the card networks, and it runs its own fraud checks on the transaction, which is why it collects device and browser details of its own. Stripe is a payment processor in its own right rather than a subcontractor of ours, and it handles that information under its own privacy notice.

What comes back to us is deliberately thin: an email listing what you bought, what it weighed, what it cost, and the email address you gave at checkout. We can look up the rest in Stripe when a refund or a query needs it, but it does not sit in our inbox and there is still no database on this site holding it. Orders are kept for the ordinary business and tax reasons any sale is kept for.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics. The dosing planner runs entirely in your browser and captures nothing; while you use it, your answers are held in your browser’s own session storage so they can be carried into the form without your typing them twice, and they reach us only if you choose to submit. A cart, if you build one, is kept the same way—in your own browser, as a list of product codes and quantities and nothing else. It carries no name, no prices and nothing about your facility, and we cannot see it until you choose to check out. On the checkout page only, Stripe sets two cookies of its own to spot fraudulent payments. They are not ours, we cannot read them, and they follow you nowhere else on the site. If we ever add analytics, this notice will be updated before that happens.

How long we keep it

For as long as it takes to respond to you and, if you become a customer, for the ordinary business and record-keeping reasons that follow from an order. Ask us to remove an enquiry and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Because enquiries are held as email rather than in an account you log in to, the way to exercise any of these is simply to email us and we will do it. You never need an account to use anything on this site.

Children

This is a business-to-business site for wastewater operators. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
