How we formulate and test our products
We develop dry and liquid blends for organic lagoon sludge. Our work includes specifying the formulation, comparing it with other products and testing different sludge types. You can also send us a representative sample for laboratory assessment before choosing treatment.
01Our own formulation
Made to our formulation
We specify the strains, their ratios, the carrier and enzyme package for our blends. A contract manufacturer produces them for us. Our formulation work focuses on dry products for organic sludge, with a liquid range for systems that need metered or poured dosing.
Working to our own specification lets us revise the formulation in response to test results.
02Benchmarked
Compared with competing products
We buy competitor products at retail and compare them with our blends using the same sludge, dose basis and conditions. We measure volatile-solids digestion, settling and blanket depth.
In our own bench testing, our dry and liquid blends have matched or bettered every competitor product tested on those measures. These are SediLogic tests, not independent trials, and they do not guarantee results in your lagoon.
03Across sludge types
Different sludge behaves differently
Municipal sludge, grease-heavy wastewater and industrial loads can respond differently. We test a range of sludge samples to understand where each blend works and where it does not.
Testing also helps establish the treatable fraction. Only volatile organic solids can respond; grit, sand, silt and mineral solids remain at any dose.
04Your sludge, assessed
Test it on your own sludge first
You can collect a representative sludge sample and send it to us. We test it in the laboratory to assess the volatile organic fraction and the inert material. Together with the published evidence, this helps estimate what treatment might achieve. It is not an on-site survey.
We will tell you if the sample is mostly grit or your lagoon details suggest mixing needs attention before treatment.
