What this product does. SediLogic products digest organic solids, reduce volatile solids, degrade fats, oils and grease, lower biochemical oxygen demand, improve settling and reduce accumulated sludge depth. They act on material, not on organisms. Bioaugmentation digests the volatile organic fraction only — sand, grit, silt, mineral precipitates and plastics are not biodegradable and remain regardless of dose, product or format. Elimination of sludge is not an achievable outcome and we do not claim it.
